MELISSA LUNA_edited.jpg

Melissa brings to the Island Living Homes Ohana a lot of experience in real estate, particularly from the perspective of a home buyer. As a Navy family, the Lunas moved often, 8 times if anyone is keeping track, and Melissa found herself going from her first home purchase… to her fourth! Each move simply reaffirmed for her that “home is where the heart is” and yet, finding the RIGHT place to call home is so important in helping bring joy and comfort to a family.

Melissa’s passion as a REALTOR began with her personal success in buying and selling real estate, and seeing first-hand the benefits and financial opportunities real estate has secured for her family. As a Navy spouse, Melissa has nearly two decades of experience in relocations, house-hunting, real-estate transactions, and even renovations! She understands the stressors that come with the process of finding just the right home, and with that, she works tirelessly to serve her clients and ensure they find the right fit.

In addition to being an incredible agent, Melissa has also been shaped by 10 years of experience as a teacher in the public sector. Her heart truly lies in guiding and serving others, and her calm optimism, warmth and humility make her an incredible asset to anyone trying to navigate Hawaii’s competitive and ever-changing real estate landscape. Melissa’s favorite part of being on the Island Living Homes team is the type of relationships that ILH gets to build with each client. “We become friends, our clients trust us, and the gratitude they share is very humbling and fulfilling.” For Melissa, building those relationships is an integral part of the REALTOR-client relationship. Truly understanding her clients, what will make them happy and what they are comfortable with, is a core component of every interaction Melissa has with each person she works with.
